| THE BIJOU STREET BLUES BAND'S RETROSPECTIVE CD " THE FREDONIA SESSIONS" IS NOW AVAILABLE JUST CLICK THE PICTURE ABOVE The recording was done November 1987 at Fredonia Studios Deckers, Colorado. The Studios were owned by the FLASH CADILLAC and the CONTINENTAL KIDS band. the studio burned in the 2002 Haymen forest fire. The studio was located in the Colorado high country at the base of a 1000ft granite dome called Sheepsnose. Flash Cadillac was a high energy 50s retro band. They did all the music and appeared in the movie American Grafitti. They also appeared in the TV show HAPPY DAYS as the band Johnny Fish and the Fins. They also did the music for the movie Apocolypse Now. They made many national radio commercials and produced the syndicated radio show SOLID GOLD in the 70s and 80s. Lynn "Spike" Phillips , Flash Cadillac lead guitar, was the recording engineer for the sessions. Sammy "Flash" McFadden was in charge of mixdowns. Sammy and Lynn have both passed away. |
