The praise and worship music on this CD is a wonderful mix of genres and
styles from singer/songwriter David Booth. You can hear his Eastern
Kentucky roots in the title song “Worker in the Harvest”. You will find the
blues in “Perfect Heart” and “Train of Grace” and country/rock in “Come to
Me.” There is even a Latin influence in the drum tinged “Joy.”
Joining David are some of Nashville’s best musicians including Andy Gurley,
guitar, Jonathon Willis, keyboards, Tracy Ferrie, bass, Tom Hoey, drums and
percussion and Jimmy Bowland, sax. His life long friends and fellow Eastern
Kentucky musicians and singers, Carla Hunter, Cindy Holloway and Rob
Holloway provide backing vocals.
Then He said to His disciples, “The Harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask
the Lord of the Harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.”
